Do you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for ensuring flawless software quality from the user interface to the deepest backend services?

TWOSD Technologies Limited is urgently looking for a meticulous and skilled Software Quality Engineer to join our team in Gurgaon. In this role, you will be the guardian of our application's quality, responsible for testing both our frontend and backend systems to ensure they are robust, reliable, and secure.

What You Will Do (Key Responsibilities):

End-to-End Test Strategy:
Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test cases and test plans covering both frontend and backend functionality.
Frontend Quality Assurance:
Validate that UI components in our web applications behave as expected and align perfectly with design specifications and user stories.
Perform accessibility testing to ensure compliance with standards like WCAG.
Develop and maintain automated UI tests using modern frameworks like
Selenium or Cypress
.
Backend & API Testing:
Conduct thorough functional, regression, integration, and load testing on our backend microservices and APIs.
Automate API tests using tools like
Postman, REST Assured,
or similar frameworks to verify functionality, CRUD operations, error handling, and response codes.
Validate data consistency and integrity across different layers of the application and within databases.
Perform security testing to identify and report backend vulnerabilities (e.g., SQL injection, insecure authentication/authorization).
Process Improvement:
Monitor system logs and error reports to proactively identify issues, analyze root causes, and work with developers to resolve them.

What You Bring (Qualifications):

4+ years
of experience in a software testing or QA engineering role.
Proven experience testing both frontend/UI and backend/API layers
of a web application.
Strong hands-on experience with UI automation frameworks
(e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
Expertise in API testing and automation tools
(e.g., Postman, REST Assured, SoapUI).
Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and HTTP protocols.
Familiarity with database concepts and the ability to write basic SQL queries for data validation.
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
A meticulous approach to testing and a strong analytical mindset for troubleshooting complex issues.

Bonus Points:

Experience with performance or load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling).
Knowledge of basic security testing principles and tools.
