As the Senior Manager, Planning, you will play a critical leadership role in shaping how planning and capacity management informs decisions across Fulfillment & Logistics (“Fugistics”). You’ll lead a team and partner closely with business leaders to drive supply chain planning, Manpower planning and efficiency, and on-time delivery at scale.

You’ll be responsible for end-to-end planning across fulfillment centers and logistics operations, ensuring alignment between demand forecasts, inventory, and operational capacity. This role requires a unique blend of strategic planning expertise, operational insight, and leadership skills.


  • Own the end-to-end supply planning (monthly and long-term) and inventory management cycle, translating demand forecasts into actionable supply plans for inbound/outbound/returns for fulfillment and logistics teams.
  • Collaborate with demand planning, warehouse, and logistics teams to ensure adequate capacity and resources are available to fulfill and maintain on-time shipping and delivery.
  • Lead seasonal and promotional event planning, including inventory build-up strategies, temporary storage solutions, manpower planning, and cross-functional coordination for seamless execution.
  • Monitor key operational metrics, including daily attainment, capacity utilization, inventory levels, and promise quality, to drive continuous improvement.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of Planners and Analysts, fostering a culture of operational excellence.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders across Operations, Finance, Product, and Technology to translate business needs into robust planning processes.
  • Build and maintain scalable planning frameworks, dashboards, and KPI tracking systems that enable proactive operational decision-making.
  • Drive forecasting, budgeting, and resource planning for key operational metrics across fulfillment centers, last-mile logistics, and supply chain.
  • Identify operational risks, bottlenecks, and capacity gaps, and implement solutions to improve throughput and efficiency.
  • Champion automation and self-service tools to reduce manual planning effort and improve execution accuracy.
  • Act as a thought partner to leadership, proactively identifying risks, opportunities, and areas for strategic investment.


What you’ll need:

  • 8+ years of experience in Planning, Supply Chain Operations, or Logistics, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong background in e-commerce, fulfillment, supply chain, or logistics.
  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional planning and operational projects that drive measurable business impact.
  • Expertise in supply planning tools, ERP systems, SQL and Excel-based planning models.
  • Proficiency in data visualization or reporting tools to track operational KPIs.
  • Strong understanding of forecasting, capacity planning, and inventory management techniques.
  • Knowledge of programming (Python/R) is optional, with emphasis on planning and operational modeling.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field.
  • Strong leadership qualities: ability to inspire, coach, and build high-performing operational teams.
