Role Purpose
The Senior Operations Manager will lead and oversee the entire operations function of CAIT, ensuring efficient deployment and management of blue-collar manpower across sites. The role demands operational excellence, people management, process compliance, and continuous improvement to ensure high-quality service delivery to clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
📌 Manpower Management
· Plan, allocate, and manage blue-collar workforce deployment across multiple sites.
· Ensure optimum utilization of manpower resources while minimizing idle time.
· Monitor attendance, discipline, and productivity of the deployed workforce.
📌 Site Operations Management
· Oversee smooth day-to-day operations at client/project sites.
· Ensure compliance with client requirements, timelines, and quality standards.
· Regularly visit sites to review execution, resolve operational challenges, and maintain service excellence.
📌 Team Leadership & Coordination
· Lead a team of site supervisors, coordinators, and field executives.
· Track daily reporting and performance of site teams.
· Mentor and develop team members for higher efficiency and accountability.
📌 Process & Compliance
· Ensure adherence to statutory, legal, and client compliance (PF, ESIC, labor laws, safety norms, etc.).
· Maintain accurate records of manpower deployment, attendance, and wage sheets.
· Drive implementation of company’s SOPs and operational policies.
📌 Client & Stakeholder Management
· Act as the first point of escalation for client concerns at operational level.
· Ensure proactive communication and resolution of issues.
· Build and maintain strong client relationships through quality service delivery.
📌 Reporting & Analysis
· Maintain MIS reports on manpower deployment, site performance, and operational efficiency.
· Submit periodic operational updates and analysis to senior management.
· Highlight challenges, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
📌 Continuous Improvement
· Identify gaps in workforce planning, site management, and reporting systems.
· Suggest and implement process improvements for cost control, efficiency, and scalability.
Key Requirements
✅ Education & Experience
· Graduate / Postgraduate in Management, Operations, or related field.
· 8–12 years of experience in operations management, preferably in manpower services, facilities management, skill development, or allied industries.
· Proven experience in handling large-scale workforce deployment and multi-site operations.
✅ Skills & Competencies
· Strong leadership and people management skills.
· Excellent planning, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
· Proficiency in MS Excel, MIS reporting, and operational tracking tools.
· Sound understanding of labor laws, compliance, and statutory requirements.
· Strong communication and negotiation skills.
· Ability to work under pressure and handle operational emergencies.
