MES Consultant / Engineer
with strong expertise in
Siemens Opcenter Discrete and MOM Connect
. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and integrate MES solutions, ensuring seamless connectivity with ERP systems while driving digital transformation in manufacturing operations. This role requires both
technical development expertise
and
domain knowledge of manufacturing execution processes
.Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and implement solutions using Siemens Opcenter Discrete.
- Work with MOM Connect to integrate MES with ERP and other enterprise systems.
- Develop and customize solutions using C#, .NET, Java/J2EE, and RESTful APIs/Web Services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable MES solutions.
- Optimize and maintain Oracle/SQL databases for MES implementations.
- Support MES functionalities such as Quality Management, Dispatch Management, Scheduling, WIP Tracking, Resource Tracking, and Maintenance Management.
- Stay updated on Industry 4.0, digital supply networks, and emerging manufacturing technologies.
- Prepare documentation, technical designs, and presentations for stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve MES-related issues independently.
Qualifications & Skills
- 4+ years of professional experience in MES/Manufacturing IT environments.
- Hands-on expertise in Siemens Opcenter Discrete (minimum 4 years) and MOM Connect.
- Strong programming experience in C#/.NET (2+ years) and Java/J2EE.
- Solid experience with Oracle/SQL databases and Visual Studio.
- Proven track record of MES to ERP integrations.
- Experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs/Web Services.
- Strong understanding of Industry 4.0 concepts and manufacturing operations.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

- Exposure to digital manufacturing technologies and automation tools.
- Familiarity with supply chain integration and manufacturing analytics.
