Job Title: Vibe Coder – AI-Assisted Developer Experience: 4+ Years (Minimum 1 Year with AI Coding Tools) Location: [Remote ] Employment Type: [Contract ] About The Role We are on the lookout for a forward-thinking and experimental Vibe Coder —a new breed of developer who uses AI tools as creative collaborators . In this role, you’ll work in an agile, fast-paced environment to rapidly transform ideas and product prompts into working software , leveraging the power of tools like Cursor AI , GitHub Copilot , and ChatGPT . This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy pushing boundaries, testing new workflows, and working at the cutting edge of how code is written. You’ll be part of a team that builds MVPs quickly, iterates efficiently, and collaborates closely with product managers, designers, and other developers. Rather than following traditional coding practices alone, your strength lies in using natural language and prompting techniques to steer LLM-based coding platforms toward production-ready solutions. You'll still write and maintain high-quality, testable code—but with the added boost of generative AI working at your side. Key Responsibilities Use AI-assisted coding platforms like Cursor AI, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or Tabnine to accelerate the design, development, and debugging of software solutions. Translate rough product concepts and natural language prompts into fully functioning modules or microservices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including product managers, UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and other developers—to deliver features with speed and clarity. Identify limitations in AI-generated code, apply manual corrections where necessary, and maintain high code quality through intelligent oversight. Continuously improve your own prompting strategies to maximize the usefulness and efficiency of AI-generated outputs. Refactor, test, and document code to ensure long-term maintainability and readability, whether generated or hand-written. Maintain familiarity with evolving AI coding tools and share knowledge and best practices with team members to improve team-wide productivity. Balance rapid prototyping with responsible code practices—ensuring stable, scalable, and secure builds in all phases of development. Required Skills And Qualifications Minimum of 4 years of professional software development experience (backend, frontend, or full-stack). At least 1 year of active experience using AI-assisted development tools, preferably Cursor AI, GitHub Copilot, or ChatGPT in real-world development workflows. Strong foundation in one or more programming languages, such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or Java. Hands-on experience with Git and version control workflows. Strong debugging, logical thinking, and code optimization skills—especially in scenarios where AI tools fall short. Comfortable working in rapidly changing environments with iterative delivery models like Agile or Lean. Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated code for correctness, efficiency, and adherence to best practices. Preferred Qualifications (Nice To Have) Prior experience building MVPs, proof-of-concepts, or prototypes using low-code/no-code or AI-driven tools. Understanding of prompt engineering techniques and how they influence AI tool behavior. Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks (React, Angular) or backend tools (Node.js, Express). Exposure to cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure) and DevOps workflows (CI/CD, containerization). Passion for AI innovation and excitement to experiment with emerging development practices.
