Job Description

Role

Maintaining Relationship with Clients & Insurers (Insurance companies)
Develops and maintains an effective network within the business community and industry. Ease of Technical discussions with CEO/ CFO of the companies.
Develop, maintain, and nurture long-term relationships with top accounts and key client decision- makers and maintain service levels all along.
Monitor political, management, and other changes within the client organizations to preserve and protect the Company's relationship with the client.
Fully versed with IRDA circulars and gap analysis done basis current market conditions for clients benefit.
Providing a detailed summary of coverage details (RFQ).
Terms and conditions and quote comparison by preparing structured spreadsheets.
Swift process request follow-ups / renewal requests and compliance reporting / reviewing policy documents for complete and correct information.
Obtain endorsement from Insurer including premium / inclusion / exclusion adjustment etc if any.
Must have knowledge & Expertise of all the commercial products like Marine, Property, Liability etc.

Qualifications

Minimum graduate from Commerce / Arts / Science
Minimum 6-8 years of working experience in underwriting.
Be a self-starter and a go-getter.
should be able to handle independently procurement of quotes, comparison between various quotes and understand and defend the claims of the insured successfully.
Open-ended attitude to perform duties in a flexible work arrangement.
Attention to detail to achieve thoroughness and accuracy.
Good stakeholder management skills and to handle escalations amicably.
Good proficiency in written and verbal English.
Good knowledge of MS Office Word / Excel / Power-Point / Outlook etc.
