Job Description

Company : CholaMs General Insurance

Location : Pune, Maharashtra

Experience : 7+ years of experience handling risks in desired area along with profit center responsibility.

Qualification : Graduate / Postgraduate

Role & responsibilities:

Underwriting

Underwrite risks after careful evaluation to minimize possible losses through moral hazard, bad profile etc.
Handle competitive pressures ; Price non-tariff risks in accordance with the risk profile and tariff risks in accordance with the relevant tariff provision
Ensure policy and underwriting documentation
Define and monitor underwriting and operational processes

Portfolio Management

Manage P&L of assigned service line
Analyze portfolio mix and performance on a periodic basis
Take corrective actions where necessary to ensure achievement of P&L goals
Constantly build a profitable book of business

Product Development

Develop new products based on market needs

Reinsurance

Ensure risk acceptance is as per reinsurance agreements and manage placement of risks outside the arrangement limits in co-ordination with reinsurance department
