Credit Underwriter

Location- Thane

Key Responsibilities -

• Conduct

  industry analysis

  to identify risks, opportunities, and market trends.
• Perform

  company analysis

  including business model evaluation and competitive positioning.
• Review and interpret

  financial statements

  such as balance sheets, profit & loss accounts, and cash flow statements.
• Assist in preparing

  credit appraisal reports

  and risk assessments for lending decisions.
• Stay updated with

  economic and financial news

  by regularly reading newspapers, journals, and articles.
• Collaborate with senior underwriters and credit managers to support decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines.

Desired Skills & Knowledge -

• Strong understanding of

  financial accounting and corporate finance

  concepts.
• Ability to analyze

  balance sheets, P&L statements, and cash flows

  .
• Knowledge of

  industry and company analysis techniques

  .
• Keen interest in

  reading financial articles, newspapers, and market updates

  .
• Proficiency in MS Excel and financial modeling basics (preferred).
• Good communication and report-writing skills.

Qualifications -

• MBA in Finance

  or

  M.Com (Finance/Accounting specialization)

  Freshers encouraged to apply.
• Strong academic foundation in finance, accounting, and economics.
