Job Description

About the role:

  • We are seeking a data-driven and business-savvy Customer Marketing Analytics Sr. Manager to support the development and execution of our customer marketing strategy.
  • This role will be instrumental in driving actionable insights, tracking performance, and enabling strategic decision-making to enhance activation effectiveness, optimize budgets, and stay ahead of market trends

Role Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

Performance Tracking & Reporting:

  • Monitor and report on plan vs. achievement for all customer marketing activations.
  • Lead measurement & evaluation (M&E) of key activations to assess ROI and effectiveness.
  • Develop and maintain performance scorecards for ongoing visibility to leadership.

Market & Execution Insights:

  • Track and analyze 3rd party data sources (e.g., Nielsen/ Sixth Factor) to evaluate in-store execution and share insights with regional teams.
  • Partner with sales and regional marketing teams to identify opportunities for improving execution scores and in-market performance.

Budget Management:

  • Manage budget allocation across activations and ensure efficient utilization of marketing spends

Strategy & Experimentation:

  • Support strategy projects to test new activation models and derive learnings for scale-up.
  • Drive a culture of experimentation and continuous improvement in customer marketing initiatives.

Internal Communication & Presentations:

  • Prepare and deliver management presentations highlighting key activation updates, insights, and strategic recommendations.

Competitive Intelligence:

  • Conduct competition tracking to benchmark against category and channel trends.
  • Analyze competitor activations, pricing, and promotional strategies.

Consumer & Customer Insights:

  • Work closely with the consumer planning team and generate actionable customer and consumer insights to ensure activation planning and strategic investments.

Experience / skills required:

Qualifications:

  • MBA with a specialization in Marketing, Strategy, or Business Analytics.
  • 56 years of relevant experience in customer marketing and commercial analytics
  • Solid understanding of marketing performance metrics and data-driven decision making.
  • Hands-on experience working with analytical tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau) and syndicated data (e.g., Nielsen, Kantar).
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate across commercial, regional, and finance teams.
  • A keen understanding of the retail landscape and evolving consumer trends in India is a strong advantage.
