What You Will Do

The Quality Excellent Senior Manager is responsible for managing the culture of quality, compliance, and continuous improvement across the Asia Pacific organization. This role supports the adherence to all applicable regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies while championing operational excellence initiatives that enhance product quality, process efficiency, and customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker, hands-on problem solver, and an influential leader who can engage cross-functional teams to deliver sustainable quality improvements in a regulated environment

Key Responsibilities

Quality & Compliance Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement improvements in quality standards and procedures to drive continuous improvement and efficiency to ensure the business' quality standards are consistently met or exceeded
  • Support maintenance of quality standards and procedures to meet regulatory requirements and exceed customer expectations (e.g., GMP, ISO 9001, ISO 13485, FDA, ICH guidelines). Analyze incident trends, review and resolve with robust resolutions which improve adherence to quality standards
  • Guide project teams in utilizing tools and implementing changes to enhance product and process quality

Quality Excellence & Continuous Improvement

  • Collaborate with quality units and cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and innovation
  • Identify, analyze, and prioritize quality improvement opportunities using data-driven methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen)
  • Standardize best practices across operations to reduce variability and improve product consistency. Implement key performance indicators (KPIs) and quality metrics to monitor and drive performance
  • Manage and optimize departmental budget to support quality initiatives and programs

Systems & Digitalization

  • Implementation and optimization of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Continuous research, utilize data analytics and technology to streamline development processes and maximize efficiency
  • Promote automation where feasible to reduce manual errors and improve compliance traceability

What We Are Looking For

  • Minimum 8-10 years of proven experience in quality management or related field in a regulated environment.
  • Minimum University/bachelor’s degree in science, Engineering, or equivalent field.
  • In-depth knowledge of quality management principles, compliance frameworks, regulatory standards tools, and techniques. Experience in implementing quality standards and procedures in a managerial role.
  • Strong understanding of quality control methodologies and process improvement techniques (e.g LEAN, KAIZEN, Six Sigma, SPC).
  • Proven track record in leading quality transformation or excellence initiatives and driving organizational change.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management abilities to effectively manage project team and collaborate with stakeholders to drive quality improvement initiatives.
  • Strong digital acumen and ability to analyze and interpret data to drive quality improvements.
  • Familiarity with industry best practices and standards related to quality management
  • Knowledge in digitalization and software-based solutions such as Enterprise Resource Planning (SAP), Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and advance analytics tools.
