As the Senior Manager, Data Analytics, you will play a critical leadership role in shaping how data informs decisions across Fulfillment & Logistics (“Fugistics”). You’ll lead a team of analytics professionals and partner closely with business leaders to drive operational excellence, efficiency, and innovation at scale. You’ll be responsible not only for building advanced analytical models and insights but also for setting the vision and roadmap for data analytics in Fugistics. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the end to end supply planning cycle, translating demand forecasts into supply plans for inbound/outbound/returns for fulfilment and logistics teams.
- Collaborate with demand planning, warehouse and logistics teams to ensure adequate capacity is there to fulfill the monthly plan and ensure timely shipping and on-time deliveries.
- Lead seasonal and promotional event planning including inventory build-up strategies, temporary storage solutions, manpower planning by partnering with cross functional teams to ensure seamless execution.
- Monitor Key performance indicators including daily attainment, capacity utilization, promise quality etc.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of Planners and Analysts and drive continuous process improvements across planning processes.
- Partner with senior stakeholders across Operations, Finance, Product, and Technology to translate business problems into structured analytical projects.
- Build and maintain scalable data frameworks, planning models, and dashboards that provide actionable insights for decision-making at all levels.
- Drive forecasting, budgeting, and KPI tracking for key operational metrics across fulfillment centers, last-mile logistics, and supply chain.
- Develop and implement advanced analytical techniques (forecasting, clustering, regression, predictive modeling) to anticipate trends and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
- Champion automation and self-service tools to empower teams and reduce manual reporting.
- Act as a thought partner to leadership, proactively identifying risks, opportunities, and areas for strategic investment.
What you’ll need:
- 8+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or Strategic Analytics, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong background in e-commerce, supply chain, fulfillment, or logistics.
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional analytics projects that drive measurable business impact.
- Deep expertise in SQL, BigQuery, and modern data analytics tools.
- Proficiency in data visualization platforms (Google Data Studio, Power BI, Tableau).
- Strong statistical foundation and experience with forecasting, predictive modeling, regression, clustering, classification techniques.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R (preferred).
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, or related field.
- Strong leadership qualities: ability to inspire, coach, and build high-performing teams.
