Senior Manager, Compensation Delivery

The candidate is expected to reside within India.


Responsibilities

In addition to following McDonald’s policies and procedures, principal accountabilities include, but are not limited to:


Compensation Program Execution:

  • Support / Lead the year-end (merit, bonus, equity) process in Success Factors, including the coordination of the testing, configuration, communication, launch, and administration of this important annual enterprise process.
  • Benchmarking & Analysis: Manage centrally all job pricing activities, including but not limited to compensation survey submissions and collections, job matching, market data cleansing, and job pricing in the compensation tool Pay Factors (or other similar tool).
  • Pay Structures: Ensure job evaluation processes and pay structures are updated to reflect market competitiveness and internal equity.
  • Vendor Management: Partner with third-party vendors, ensuring efficient delivery, cost management, and employee satisfaction.
  • Salary Reviews & Adjustments: Oversee the execution of annual salary reviews and adjustments, ensuring consistency, fairness, and alignment with company performance and market trends.
  • Job Evaluation: Manage globally job evaluations (leveling, job profiles – utilizing tools), working with market TR leads to ensure globally consistent approach


Team Leadership and Oversight:

  • Manage the daily responsibilities of Compensation Specialists, ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals and delivering exceptional employee support.
  • Oversee Scaled Services compensation administration activities, assessing efficiency, and identifying opportunities for improvement.


Operational and Process Improvement:

  • Implement process enhancements and best practices to ensure compensation operations achieve operational excellence and employee satisfaction.
  • Regularly evaluate compensation workflows and systems to identify inefficiencies and recommend solutions to enhance performance.


Escalation and Issue Resolution:

  • Function as the secondary escalation point for compensation program issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution or further escalation as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including HR, Legal, and external vendors, to address and resolve escalated compensation challenges.


Compliance and Data Management:

  • Maintain accurate records of compensation-related activities, including vendor contracts, agreements, and system updates.
  • Ensure data integrity and confidentiality while adhering to compliance with federal, state, and international regulations governing compensation administration.


Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Total Rewards, or related field; advanced degree preferred
  • Proven experience in roles responsible for talent rewards or compensation delivery, including managing teams
  • Experience operating in large, multi-national corporations in a highly matrixed, complex structure
  • Experience working across many countries and cultures
  • Understands the needs and challenges of global leaders
  • Extensive experience collaborating with and leading global teams across various regions
  • Expert in driving cross-functional initiatives, ensuring organizational objectives are met seamlessly
  • Demonstrated ability to operate as a people manager, leading diverse, complex teams, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration across global markets
