In this role, you will lead the design of innovative, user-centered experiences across multiple digital products, focusing on enhancing discovery, engagement, and seamless onboarding. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and researchers, to create intuitive and impactful user experiences. Your work will influence design strategy, mentor other designers, and shape best practices in UX across the organization. - Accountabilities:
- Lead the end-to-end design process for multiple products, from concept through implementation, ensuring user-centered solutions that meet business objectives.
- Collaborate effectively with engineers, product managers, and researchers to communicate design intent and technical considerations.
- Prototype, test, and iterate on designs at various fidelities, incorporating user feedback and usability testing.
- Create comprehensive design documentation and artifacts, including user flows, wireframes, and interaction specifications.
- Mentor and guide junior designers, fostering growth and building a strong design culture.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing short-term deliverables with long-term strategic goals.
- Contribute to design systems, UX writing, micro-interactions, and accessibility standards to ensure a cohesive user experience.
- Requirements:
- 10+ years of professional experience in UX and interaction design, with a proven track record of delivering user-centered products.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating design excellence, complex information architecture, and UX strategy.
- Expertise in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Framer, XD, InVision, and Axure, with strong prototyping and validation skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate complex ideas to cross-functional teams.
- Experience mentoring designers and leading multiple projects in an agile environment.
- Knowledge of designing for web and mobile platforms, including micro-interactions, animations, and UX writing.
- Experience in customer-focused industries such as eCommerce, FinTech, or SaaS is a plus.
- Strong collaboration, problem-solving, and analytical skills to drive design decisions and improvements.
