Key Result Areas (Primary Responsibilities)

As a Senior Manager – IT Projects at Wonderla, you will be responsible for leading the planning, execution, and successful delivery of various technology initiatives. Working closely with the Vice President and cross-functional teams, you will ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. This role demands strong project management skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to align technical solutions with broader business objectives. Your leadership will be instrumental in driving innovation, managing risk, and enhancing overall project outcomes across the organization.


Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the full lifecycle of IT projects, from initiation through execution to closure, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

• Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocations, and milestones to guide execution and measure progress.

• Collaborate with functional heads, web stack, POS, QA, infrastructure teams, and external vendors to gather requirements and define project scopes.

• Utilize appropriate project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid) to ensure efficient and effective project execution.

• Track and manage project deliverables, budgets, and timelines using project tracking tools; provide regular updates to stakeholders.

• Identify project risks and issues early, develop mitigation plans, and take proactive measures to keep initiatives on track.

• Ensure consistent and clear communication with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership and C-level executives.

• Excellent skills in presenting to executive leadership and clients, articulating project value, progress, and outcomes in a clear and impactful manner.

• Oversee quality assurance processes in collaboration with QA teams and ensure robust User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• Build and nurture a high-performing team culture by mentoring team members, setting clear expectations, and fostering continuous improvement.

• Manage change control processes, including scope changes and re-baselining, while maintaining project integrity.

• Strong Organizational Change Management skills, enabling successful implementation of new processes and systems while managing stakeholder expectations.

• Ensure all project documentation is maintained and projects are executed in compliance with internal governance policies, including security, regulatory, and audit standards.


Education & Experience with Technical Knowledge:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 8–10 years of hands-on experience in IT Project Management, with a strong track record of successfully delivering complex, large-scale IT or software development projects.

• PMP certification is required. Additional credentials such as PRINCE2, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or SAFe Agilist are highly desirable.

• In-depth understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), with practical experience in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

• Proficiency in project management and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, Trello, or Asana.

• Solid knowledge of Enterprise IT infrastructure, cloud platforms, cybersecurity principles, and data governance practices.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage relationships across cross-functional teams and external vendors.

• Demonstrated analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities, with meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.
