About The Opportunity
A growing player in the Industrial IoT and Embedded Systems sector, focused on developing compact, reliable hardware products for commercial and industrial customers. We design end-to-end embedded solutions—hardware, firmware and manufacturing-ready electronics—targeting high-quality, scalable product lines.Location: India (On-site). We are hiring an experienced Hardware Design Engineer to own schematic-to-production delivery for next-generation embedded products.Role & Responsibilities
- Design and deliver mixed-signal PCBs: create schematics, perform PCB layout, and iterate through prototype cycles to production-ready hardware.
- Architect and validate power delivery, analog front-ends, and digital interfaces; run SPICE and signal integrity simulations to guarantee functional and electrical performance.
- Lead prototype bring-up and field debug using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and protocol analyzers; diagnose failures and implement robust fixes.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with firmware, mechanical, and quality teams to define interfaces, DFM/DFX requirements, and test strategies for manufacturing handoff.
- Prepare BOMs, select components with supplier sourcing and cost-optimization in mind; manage vendor interactions for prototypes and production runs.
- Maintain comprehensive hardware documentation, support EMI/EMC and safety compliance activities, and drive design reviews and release checklists.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electronics/Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) with 3+ years of hands-on hardware design experience.
- Proven experience with schematic capture and PCB layout tools (Altium, OrCAD, Mentor) and circuit simulation (SPICE).
- Strong analog and digital circuit design skills: power supplies, ADC/DAC interfaces, clocking and signal conditioning.
- Hands-on prototype bring-up and debugging experience using lab instruments (oscilloscope, logic analyzer, power supplies).
- Experience creating BOMs, component selection, and familiarity with RoHS, EMI/EMC basics and DFM principles.
- Clear technical documentation skills and experience participating in design reviews and production transfers.
Preferred
- Experience with high-speed PCB design, impedance-controlled routing, and signal-integrity practices.
- Familiarity with FPGA/SoC integration, JTAG, hardware-software co-debugging, and embedded interfaces (SPI, I2C, UART, USB, Ethernet).
- Exposure to certification processes (CE/FCC), supplier management and quality systems used in India-based manufacturing.
Benefits & Culture Highlights
- Product-focused engineering culture with end-to-end ownership from prototype to production.
- Hands-on, collaborative team environment that values practical engineering, rapid iteration, and technical mentorship.
- Competitive compensation, structured growth paths, and opportunities to work on commercially deployed embedded systems.
