Senior Hardware Design Engineer

As a Senior Hardware Engineer (Tech Lead) with 6+ years of experience, you will be responsible for leading the Hardware Business Unit, overseeing projects, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality embedded products. Your role involves leading and managing small teams or independent hardware projects with minimal supervision. You will drive project execution from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery and meeting quality standards. In terms of hardware development, you will be involved in developing high-quality embedded products using industry best practices. This includes contributing to architecture definition, detailed design, and the complete hardware development lifecycle, including validation and compliance. You will focus on designing electronic products in the power domain, addressing complex design challenges. Your role also involves providing innovative solutions to complex design challenges, conducting high-level requirement analysis, and engaging in technical discussions with internal and client teams. Effective client communication through regular project reviews is essential. The technical experience required for this role includes a comprehensive understanding of all stages of the Hardware Product Development Lifecycle. You should have proficiency in working with processors/controllers such as ST, Microchip, TI, Freescale, and NXP. Hands-on experience with high-speed board designing, multi-layer board design, signal integrity analysis, board bring-up, and debugging is necessary. Experience with interfaces such as CAN, USB 3.0, PCIe, MIPI, I2C, SPI, and UART is preferred. Knowledge of EMI/EMC compliance processes and proficiency in design tools like ORCAD, ALLEGRO, ALTIUM, and PADS are required. Familiarity with lab instruments such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, function generators, and logic analyzers is also important.
