Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Hardware Design Engineer with strong expertise in embedded electronics, high-speed digital/analog design, PCB development, and system integration. The ideal candidate will lead end-to-end hardware development—from concept, schematic design, component selection, simulation, PCB design review, prototyping, testing, and product release.

Key Responsibilities

1. Hardware Design & Development

• Design analog, digital, mixed-signal, and power electronics circuits.
• Develop system architecture and block diagrams based on product requirements.
• Component selection for MCUs/MPUs, FPGAs, sensors, RF modules, power systems, etc.
• Create and review schematics using tools Altium
• Guide PCB layout engineers for multilayer, high-speed, RF, and HDI designs.

2. Prototyping & Validation

• Bring-up and debug hardware prototypes.
• Perform design validation (DVT), reliability testing, and environmental testing.
• Support firmware team during board bring-up and system integration.
• Analyze signal integrity, power integrity, EMI/EMC compliance.

3. Documentation & Release

• Generate complete engineering documentation (schematics, BOM, layout guidelines, test plans).
• Work with manufacturing/EMS vendors for PCB fabrication & assembly.
• Conduct root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions for field/production issues.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with firmware, mechanical, testing, and production teams.
• Participate in design reviews and propose improvements for cost, performance, and reliability.

Required Skills & Competencies

Technical Skills

• Strong experience in

  embedded hardware design

  (minimum 5 years).
• Hands-on with microcontrollers, processors, power supplies (DC-DC, LDOs).
• Experience with

  high-speed interfaces

  (USB, Ethernet, SPI, I2C, UART, CAN).
• Knowledge of RF, BLE, LoRa, GPS modules (preferred).
• Experience with power electronics up to 2 years
• Strong debugging skills using DSO, logic analyzer, multimeter, EMI probes.

Tools Knowledge

• Altium Designer
• LTspice / PSpice / simulation tools
• Version control (Git, SVN)
• Jira or similar task management tools

Soft Skills

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Leadership capability to guide junior engineers.
