Position: Senior Finance Executive

The Senior Finance executive will be responsible for leading the financial management of projects, ensuring compliance, maintaining high standards of reporting, and providing financial oversight to grassroots partners. The role demands strong analytical capabilities, adherence to organizational policies, and accuracy in financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management & Compliance

• Manage project accounting independently and ensure adherence to Good Neighbors’ financial policies.
• Process payments in line with organizational and donor financial guidelines.
• Prepare and submit 

  monthly utilization reports

   for donors.
• Ensure timely resolution of donor financial queries.
• Lead responses to internal and external audit queries.
• Prepare monthly MIS reports and present them to management.
• Support preparation of the organization’s Balance Sheet.
• Conduct monthly 

  bank reconciliation

  , trial balance reconciliation, and other ledger reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with 

  Income Tax, GST, TDS, FCRA

  , and other statutory requirements.
• Execute timely compliance of 

  TDS, PF, Professional Tax (10BD),

   and other mandatory filings.

Project Financial Oversight

• Monitor financial transactions and documentation of grassroots/implementation partners.
• Conduct field visits to project locations for verification, capacity building, and ensuring financial transparency.

Skills, Education & Qualifications

Education

• B.Com / M.Com

   (mandatory)

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of 

  TDS, GST, Income Tax, FCRA

  , and statutory compliances.
• Proficiency in  Quickbooks, 

  Tally ERP 9

  , MS Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Word.
• Experience in preparing financial statements, reconciliations, and donor reports.
• Ability to handle filings under Income Tax (including 

  10BD

  ), PF, and Professional Tax.

Experience & Competencies

• Minimum 

  4-5 years

   of relevant experience in Accounts & Finance.
• Candidates with experience in both 

  NGO

   and 

  corporate sectors

   will be preferred.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently with integrity and attention to detail.
• Comfort with field travel for project-related financial monitoring.
