The Senior Business Systems Analyst (BSA) plays a pivotal role in driving NielsenIQ’s Shop Reference Data Platform Transformation — connecting business process improvement, product evolution, and data operations into a cohesive, value-driven delivery model. This role serves as the translation layer between business needs and system functionality — ensuring transformation goals are captured, validated, and delivered as measurable outcomes across global markets.Key Responsibilities
- Lead the elicitation, documentation, and validation of complex business requirements across multiple stakeholders
- Translate business transformation goals into clear, testable, and deployable functional requirements
- Develop and maintain FRDs, process flows, data dictionaries, and interface specifications
- Partner with Process Team to document 'As-Is' workflows and co-design 'To-Be' optimized processes
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to align system logic and data flows with business intent
- Support UI/UX design sessions to ensure alignment with user experience objectives
- Act as a bridge across Process, Product, and Deployment teams to ensure coherence and traceability

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 8–12 years of experience in Business Systems Analysis or Functional Consulting, preferably in data platform or enterprise transformation contexts.
- Expertise in functional specification writing, data modeling, and process analysis.
- Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Visio/Lucidchart, and SQL for data validation.
- Strong collaboration skills across Product, Process, and Deployment teams.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is needed
- Lean/Six Sigma principles is advantageous.
