Role Overview

We are looking for a driven and result-oriented Sales Executive (or Senior Sales Executive depending on experience) to join our B2B team in Kolkata. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of relevant B2B sales experience, strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, and a passion for sustainable products. You will be responsible for driving sales growth, building relationships with clients, and expanding our presence in targeted industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, prospect, and engage new business clients (companies, institutions, distributors) interested in eco-friendly products.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and long-term partnerships.
  • Present product offerings, conduct product demonstrations, tailor proposals, and quotations as per client requirements.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to close deals.
  • Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Maintain and update sales pipeline, track leads, follow-ups, and ensure timely closure.
  • Prepare regular sales reports: sales forecasts, progress against targets, market feedback, competitor intelligence.
  • Work closely with operations, supply chain, and marketing teams to ensure customer satisfaction, timely delivery, and feedback loop.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum 2 years of B2B sales experience (selling eco-friendly / sustainable / consumable / manufacturing / industrial products preferred).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, or related field.
  • Excellent communication (verbal & written), presentation, negotiation skills.
  • Strong client facing skills, confidence in cold calling / cold outreach as well as handling inbound enquiries.
  • Goal-oriented, self-motivated, with ability to work independently and manage one’s sales funnel.
  • Good organizational skills, ability to multi-task and prioritize.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools or sales tracking software.
  • Knowledge of local/regional market dynamics in and around Kolkata / West Bengal is an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings.
