With a focus on sustainability, quality, and direct-to-consumer excellence, we are building a modern furniture brand that caters to digitally savvy and quality-conscious customers across India. As we scale our operations and digital footprint, we are seeking a strategic leader to spearhead our D2C vertical. Role Overview The BU Head – D2C Website & Brands will own and drive the end-to-end strategy, growth, and P&L of Amwoodo’s D2C business. This includes leading the website operations, performance marketing, brand development, UI/UX, customer journey optimization, and cross-functional coordination with product, design, and operations teams. Key Responsibilities 1. Business Strategy & P&L Ownership Develop and execute the growth roadmap for Amwoodo's D2C vertical. Own the P&L, monitor gross margins, CAC, AOV, retention, and CLTV. Identify growth opportunities and prioritize initiatives to scale the business sustainably. 2. Website & Conversion Optimization Manage the end-to-end D2C website (Shopify/Custom), ensuring optimal UX/UI. Work closely with tech and design teams to implement CRO strategies. Lead SEO, on-site content strategy, and performance analytics. 3. Performance & Growth Marketing Design and execute full-funnel digital marketing campaigns (Meta, Google, Retargeting, Email/SMS). Own media budgets, CAC targets, and campaign ROI. Partner with external agencies or internal teams to drive high-impact results. 4. Brand Building & Customer Experience Evolve Amwoodo’s brand narrative and identity for D2C audiences. Ensure a consistent, high-quality brand presence across web, social, and packaging. Oversee CRM and retention marketing (loyalty, email, remarketing, post-purchase flows). 5. Cross-Functional Collaboration Liaise with the Product, Design, Operations, and Logistics teams for supply chain planning and order fulfillment. Coordinate with customer support to ensure frictionless post-sales service and feedback loops. 6. Data, Insights & Reporting Track KPIs including sessions, conversion rate, revenue, cart abandonment, bounce rate, etc. Use data tools (GA4, Hotjar, CRM dashboards, etc.) to extract insights and optimize performance. Key Result Areas (KRAs) KRA Target/Outcome Revenue Growth Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets via the D2C website CAC and Marketing ROI Maintain or reduce CAC within acceptable benchmarks while scaling revenue Website Conversion Rate Optimization Increase conversion rate through UI/UX, CRO, and checkout optimizations Brand Awareness & Engagement Improve brand metrics (engagement rate, recall, loyalty, etc.) Retention & Repeat Rate Increase customer repeat purchase rate and LTV through retention strategies Operational Efficiency Ensure smooth D2C order processing, packaging, and delivery Customer Satisfaction (NPS, CSAT) Achieve high satisfaction scores through excellent website and post-purchase CX Qualifications & Skills 6–10 years of experience in D2C ecommerce (preferably furniture/home/lifestyle categories) Proven track record of owning a D2C P&L Strong understanding of Shopify/Shopify Plus, digital marketing platforms, analytics Ability to balance brand building with performance marketing Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills Experience managing cross-functional teams and vendors What We Offer Opportunity to lead and shape a fast-growing D2C brand from the front Entrepreneurial autonomy with a collaborative team culture Competitive salary (up to ₹16 LPA) with performance-based incentives
