Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Executive with 3–5 years of expertise in managing payroll processes. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate and timely processing of employee salaries, statutory compliance, and payroll reconciliation while maintaining confidentiality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process end-to-end payroll for employees accurately and on time.
  • Validate attendance, leave records, overtime, and variable pay before payroll run.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations (PF, ESI, PT, TDS, LWF, Gratuity, etc.).
  • Handle monthly payroll reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with HR and Finance teams for payroll inputs and approvals.
  • Generate salary statements, payslips, and statutory challans.
  • File returns and prepare reports for PF, ESI, PT, TDS, etc. within due timelines.
  • Manage employee queries related to salary, deductions, and statutory benefits.
  • Support audits (internal/external) by providing accurate payroll data and reports.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee records and payroll information.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, HR, Finance, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in payroll processing and statutory compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and statutory requirements (PF, ESI, TDS, PT, etc.).
  • Proficiency in payroll software (SAP, Oracle, Tally, or other payroll systems).
  • Advanced MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • Preferred Attributes:
  • Experience in handling payroll for 500+ employees.
  • Exposure to HRIS/ERP systems.
  • Updated knowledge of amendments in payroll and tax laws.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
