Job Description

Role & responsibilities:

1. Managing contracts in accordance with company policies

2. Preparing and negotiating the terms and conditions of contracts

3. Meeting with stakeholders to discuss legal matters

4. Ensuring all contract documentation is up to date

5. Ensuring contract compliance with the company's policies and procedures

6. Informing internal and external stakeholders of the status of contracts

7. Investigating and addressing contract issues

8. Resolving legal disputes

Essential Responsibilities / Expectations:

  • Draft, evaluate, negotiate and execute contracts
  • Establish and maintain single point of contact for contractual matters
  • Manage record keeping for all contract-related correspondence and documentation
  • Provide contract-related issue resolution
  • Monitor and complete contract close-out, extension or renewal, as appropriate
  • Communicate/Liaising contract-related information to all stakeholders
  • Responsible for proper contract management compliances during and after execution of agreement with vendors.
  • Demonstrated negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • An understanding of the Education industry
  • An understanding of legal documentation
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of legal terminology
  • Ensure the organization's internal contract documents are accurate and well maintained
  • Provide advice and guidance to the different teams relating to contract generation
  • Comfortable working as part of a multidimensional team
  • Exemplify a strong attention to detail
  • Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Capable of professionally managing confidential information
  • Exemplify creative problem solving abilities
  • Strong interpersonal skills

Preferred Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum Qualification Required: LLB
  • Range of Experience Required: 2-4 Years
