Senior Engineer – Cybersecurity

pivotal role in delivery

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

• Design, architect, and implement enterprise-level cybersecurity solutions across hybrid infrastructures (on-prem, cloud, and containerized environments)
• Lead deployments of security technologies such as SIEM, EDR/XDR, DLP, IAM, Firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and CASBs
• Conduct in-depth threat modelling, security architecture reviews, and risk assessments
• Build detailed technical documentation, SOPs, runbooks, and network/security diagrams

Project & Client Management

• Own end-to-end cybersecurity project delivery: planning, execution, testing, reporting, and closure
• Serve as the technical point of contact during client interactions and represent the organization in technical discussions, audits, and reviews
• Translate business and compliance requirements into technical security controls and solutions

Team Handling

• Guide and mentor junior engineers and analysts; provide performance feedback and technical coaching
• Review team members’ work, validate configurations, and ensure quality of deliverables
• Allocate and manage resources across multiple ongoing projects

Security Operations & Compliance

• Analyze alerts, investigate incidents, and support incident response efforts
• Collaborate with compliance and audit teams for frameworks such as ISO 27001, SEBI CSCRF, and NCIIPC CAF
• Monitor emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and recommend proactive measures

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (Master’s or certifications are a plus)

• 10+ years

  of

  hands-on cybersecurity experience

  with at least

  3 years in a lead or senior-level role

• Strong experience with:

• SIEM

  (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, ArcSight)

• EDR/XDR

  (e.g., CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Microsoft Defender)

• IAM solutions

  (SSO, MFA, AD, Azure AD)

• Firewall & Network Security

  (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA)

• Cloud security tools

  (AWS, Azure, GCP native controls)

• Vulnerability Management & Compliance Tools

• Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation and log analysis is a plus

Certifications (Preferred but not mandatory)

• CISSP, CISM, CEH, OSCP, CISA, AZ-500, or equivalent
