Senior Front-End Developer
with deep expertise in
Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
and
React.js
to deliver next-generation digital experiences for institutional and retail clients.This role will be instrumental in modernizing our digital platforms, improving client engagement, and ensuring secure, compliant, and performant web interfaces aligned with the firm’s digital strategy.You’ll collaborate closely with designers, AEM architects, and back-end engineers to build scalable, component-based experiences across global investment portals, marketing sites, and advisor platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, optimize, and maintain AEM front-end components using HTL/Sightly, Sling Models, and React.js for dynamic, data-driven interfaces.
- Integrate React-based UI components with AEM SPA Editor, ensuring seamless authoring and content flexibility for marketing and communications teams.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement pixel-perfect, accessible (WCAG 2.1 compliant) interfaces that align with brand and regulatory guidelines.
- Work closely with AEM back-end developers to integrate APIs, microservices, and GraphQL endpoints that power secure, personalized financial content.
- Ensure performance optimization, cross-browser compatibility, and responsive design across desktop, tablet, and mobile experiences.
- Develop and maintain front-end build pipelines (Webpack, Node.js, npm) integrated with Adobe Cloud Manager for CI/CD.
- Partner with security, compliance, and analytics teams to ensure solutions meet data protection, accessibility, and analytics tracking standards.
- Participate in code reviews, peer mentoring, and contribute to the internal design system / component library.
- Support multi-region AEM deployments with localization, content targeting, and personalization capabilities.
Required Skills And Experience
- 6+ years of front-end development experience, including 3+ years working with AEM (6.5 or AEM as a Cloud Service).
- Strong proficiency in React.js, ES6+, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, SASS/LESS, and Webpack.
- Demonstrated experience integrating React SPA components with AEM SPA Editor and AEM Core Components.
- Solid understanding of AEM ClientLibs, Editable Templates, Sling Models, and Dispatcher caching behavior.
- Experience working within regulated industries (financial services, banking, or insurance) with attention to data security and accessibility.
- Excellent knowledge of responsive UI, cross-browser testing, and performance tuning (Lighthouse, Core Web Vitals).
- Proficiency in Git-based workflows, JIRA, Confluence, and Agile delivery methods.
- Strong communication and documentation skills for collaboration across global teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Next.js, Storybook, or design system implementation (for AEM component governance).
- Experience with Adobe Target, Adobe Analytics, or Launch integration for personalization and measurement.
- Understanding of AEM Headless (Content Fragments / GraphQL) for hybrid web + mobile delivery.
- Exposure to financial data visualization (charts, performance metrics) using libraries like Recharts or D3.js.
- Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) – AEM Sites Developer certification.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Master’s degree or equivalent work experience in digital transformation projects within financial services is a plus.
