This is a contract, remote role for an Database Architect in AWS. The DB Architect will be responsible for managing and maintaining the organization's database strategy. Day-to-day tasks include upgrading, configuring and monitoring AWS DB services, DB performance tuning, ensuring security and compliance, performing regular backups, managing disaster recovery, and optimizing performance and cost-efficiency. Collaboration with development teams to support deployment processes will also be a key aspect of the role.
