As a skilled Business Development Manager (Import-Export), your role will focus on identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to enhance the global reach and import-export operations of the company. Your responsibilities will include: - Client Acquisition: Identify, develop, and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients in the import-export industry. - Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market share objectives. - Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, analyze industry trends, and assess competitor activities. - Proposal Development: Prepare comprehensive proposals, presentations, and quotations to address client needs and secure new business. - Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and terms with clients to ensure mutually beneficial agreements. - Client Management: Manage client relationships throughout the sales cycle, providing excellent customer service and support. In addition to the above responsibilities, you may also have the opportunity to lead and mentor a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets and drive business growth. The key roles you may undertake as a Business Development Manager include: - Sales Representative - Market Analyst - Proposal Writer - Negotiator - Relationship Manager Qualifications and Experience required for this role: - Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, international trade, or a related field. - Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field. - Proven track record of achieving sales targets and exceeding expectations. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). - Knowledge of international trade terminology and Incoterms is a plus. This full-time, permanent position offers performance incentives and requires a minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in business development. Proficiency in English is preferred, and the work location is in person.
