Key Responsibilities:

  1. Business Development & Client Acquisition


  • Identify and generate leads for office space leasing through networking, cold calling, references, and industry connections.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate occupiers, startups, consultants, and property owners.
  • Develop a pipeline of potential tenants and maintain accurate records in CRM systems.
  1. Leasing Transactions


  • Understand client requirements (size, location, budget, amenities) and provide suitable property options.
  • Conduct property tours and presentations for prospective clients.
  • Negotiate commercial terms (rent, lease structure, escalation, lock-in, etc.) in coordination with the management.
  • Ensure timely closure of leasing transactions in line with business targets.
  1. Market Research & Analysis


  • Track commercial real estate market trends, competitor offerings, rental values, and demand–supply dynamics.
  • Provide insights to management for pricing strategy, project positioning, and business expansion.
  1. Relationship Management


  • Maintain long-term relationships with key occupiers, brokers and landlords.
  • Act as a point of contact between clients and internal teams for smooth transaction execution.
  1. Revenue & Target Achievement


  • Achieve monthly/quarterly leasing targets.
  • Assist in developing and executing strategies to maximize occupancy and rental income for company projects.


Qualifications

  • Proven experience in Business Development and Sales within the real estate industry
  • Strong negotiation and strategic planning skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in market research and trend analysis
  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships
  • Highly motivated and results-driven
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Real Estate, or a related field
  • In-depth knowledge of the Kolkata real estate market is beneficial
