Job Description

Role Overview: As a Business Development Manager at the Independent Hotels team, you will be responsible for establishing and fostering connections with independent hotels located throughout India. Your role will involve overseeing comprehensive key account management from start to finish to ensure the sustainable performance of the region. You will be required to travel to various hotels within the portfolio, providing expert guidance, metrics analysis, and recommendations based on industry best practices to our hotel partners. Key Responsibilities: - Connect and engage with independent hotels to build strong relationships - Manage end-to-end accounts and drive sustainable performance in the region - Source and onboard new hotels - Travel to different hotels in the portfolio to provide expertise, metrics analysis, and recommendations based on industry best practices - Develop business plans to achieve revenue goals and drive growth in net revenue - Ensure inventory levels exceed demand and maintain rate competitiveness across multiple platforms - Establish and maintain supplier relationships, train partner hotels, review production reports, provide feedback, and plan and execute market site visits - Build MIS and market intelligence reports, prepare sales plans, and share insights on the market and industry with clients and internal stakeholders - Network, initiate deals, negotiate, and close deals with clients to market the hotels effectively Qualifications Required: - Masters degree from a reputed institute - 2-4 years of experience in sales, Travel Trade, Key Account Management, Contracting, or B2B Sales - Experience in handling multiple accounts as a partner is preferred - Proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint Additional Details: The Independent Hotels team, part of the Domestic Hotel supply function, oversees the supply of over 70,000 independent hotels contracted on the platforms. The role of Business Development Manager requires strong communication skills, influencing skills, great interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, high energy, teamwork, and a positive attitude.,
