Role Overview :

Senior Business Analyst

You will own the end-to-end requirement lifecycle — from stakeholder discussions to functional documentation, data validation, and supporting successful solution delivery.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Requirement Gathering & Analysis

• Partner with business stakeholders to understand goals, workflows, and pain points.
• Facilitate structured requirement workshops and capture detailed user stories, BRDs, and FRDs.
• Perform gap analysis and feasibility assessments in collaboration with technical teams.

2. Documentation Excellence

• Create and maintain high-quality documentation: business requirements, functional specs, process flows, data flow diagrams, and impact assessments.
• Standardize documentation templates and ensure traceability throughout the lifecycle.
• Support external/internal teams with clear SOPs, knowledge articles, and process documentation.

3. Data Validation & Analysis

• Investigate and triage data issues by querying databases (SQL, etc.).
• Work with TechOps engineers to analyze source-to-target mapping and reconciliation.
• Validate that solutions meet business and regulatory requirements.

4. Stakeholder Engagement

• Act as the bridge between business, PMs, and engineering teams.
• Translate business needs into actionable items for technical teams.
• Participate in agile ceremonies (grooming, sprint planning, retrospectives) to ensure requirements are fully understood.

5. Process & Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities to optimize business processes and workflows.
• Recommend system/process enhancements with measurable business value.
• Help embed a documentation-first culture within the team.

Required Qualifications :

• 7–9 years of Business Analysis experience in tech-first organizations (SaaS, BFSI, Healthcare, or similar domains).
• Proven ability to own requirement gathering and documentation end-to-end.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Hands-on experience with SQL/data validation.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, Lucidchart/Draw.io, MS Office/Google Suite.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Experience in data-driven projects (ETL, APIs, reporting).
• Exposure to support/ticket triage environments.
• Certifications: CSPO, IIBA Agile Analysis, SAFe, or equivalent.
• c, TTR).
• Knowledge of documentation frameworks (Confluence, Notion, Git-based wikis).
