Senior Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Architect with over 10 years of expertise in architectural design. ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of design principles, technical proficiency, and leadership skills to manage complex projects from inception to completion. This is a strategic role requiring creativity, problem-solving, and collaboration to deliver innovative and sustainable architectural solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Design Development:

• Lead the conceptualization and design of innovative architectural solutions.
• Oversee the preparation of detailed drawings, plans, and 3D models using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and BIM tools.

Project Management:

• Manage and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery within budget.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, requirements, and constraints.
• Work with cross-functional teams, including engineers, consultants, and contractors, to ensure project success.

Technical Oversight:

• Review and approve technical drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and standards.
• Conduct site visits to oversee construction progress and address technical challenges.

Leadership & Mentoring:

• Supervise and mentor junior architects, designers, and interns.
• Provide guidance on best practices, technical standards, and emerging trends in architecture.

Sustainability Focus:

• Incorporate sustainable design principles and green building technologies into
• projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
• Licensed Architect (State-specific licensure preferred).
• Proficiency in architectural design tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, BIM).
• Strong knowledge of building codes, zoning laws, and construction standards.
• Exceptional project management and organizational skills.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage stakeholders effectively.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in sustainable design and certifications like LEED, WELL, or BREEAM.
• Expertise in advanced modeling tools or software (e.g., Grasshopper, Dynamo).
• Background in designing large-scale projects such as commercial, residential, or institutional buildings.
• Membership in professional organizations such as AIA, RIBA, or equivalent.
