Job Description

Job Title: Senior Architect

Location: Govandi east, Mumbai

Experience Required: Minimum 4–6 years post-qualification (B.Arch or M.Arch)

Employment Type: Full-time


Role Overview:

The Senior Architect will lead projects from concept to completion, translating design intent into detailed, buildable solutions. This role demands a balance of design excellence, technical know-how, and the ability to mentor junior team members while coordinating with consultants, contractors, and clients. 


Key Responsibilities: 

Design & Concept Development Drive concept design, schematic layouts, and design presentations. Ensure design aligns with company ethos, sustainability goals, and local building codes (NBC, local DCRs, ECBC). Project Management & Coordination Prepare and oversee GFC (Good for Construction) drawings, detailed drawings, and tender documentation. Liaise with structural, MEP, landscape, and other consultants for timely, coordinated outputs. Monitor project timelines, budgets, and site execution to meet quality standards. Team Leadership Guide and mentor junior architects, interns, and drafting staff. Conduct design reviews and provide constructive feedback. 


Client & Stakeholder Interface:

 Attend client meetings, present design proposals, and handle approvals. Coordinate with statutory authorities for permissions and compliance. 


Required Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of: 

Indian building codes & bye-laws, NBC 2016, ECBC, fire norms. Construction detailing, materials, and services integration. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to multitask across multiple projects and deadlines. 


Software Proficiency (expected at professional level) Design & Drafting:


AutoCAD, Revit (BIM), SketchUp Visualization & Rendering: Lumion / Enscape / V-Ray, Twinmotion Graphics & Presentation: Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) Project Coordination & Documentation: MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Bluebeam / Acrobat Preferred/Bonus: Rhino, Grasshopper, ArchiCAD, 3ds Max 


Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from a COA-recognized institution. COA registration (mandatory). 

Proven portfolio showcasing built and unbuilt work across residential, commercial, or hospitality sectors.
