About The Role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Application Support Specialist to join our team and provide expert-level support for SWIFT applications and infrastructure.This role requires strong hands-on experience with SWIFT technologies including Alliance Access, Alliance Gateway, SWIFT Warehouse, and message types such as FIN, FileAct, and InterAct.The ideal candidate will have solid experience in application support, troubleshooting, configuration, and system maintenance within financial messaging Responsibilities :
  • Monitor, maintain, and support SWIFT Alliance Access, Alliance Gateway, and Warehouse systems.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of SWIFT messages (FIN, FileAct, InterAct).
  • Provide L1/L2 support for incidents, alerts, and system failures related to SWIFT.
  • Perform regular system health checks and maintain system uptime.
  • Manage message queues, acknowledgements, delivery failures, and rejections.
  • Apply hotfixes, patches, and assist in version upgrades of SWIFT applications.
  • Maintain secure configuration of PKI certificates, BICs, and network connectivity.
  • Participate in Disaster Recovery (DR) drills and Business Continuity Planning (BCP) testing.
  • Administer user roles, access controls, password management, and audit logging.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., Core Banking, Payment Systems) for message integration and reconciliation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving SWIFTNet, VPNs, TLS/SSL certificates, and firewalls.
  • Interface with SWIFT support teams for escalations, issues, and service requests.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with SWIFT CSP (Customer Security Programme) guidelines.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation for system configurations, incident logs, SOPs, and technical runbooks.
  • Support external/internal audits and IT compliance reviews (e.g., SOX, internal Skills & Experience :
  • 5+ years of experience in supporting SWIFT infrastructure and messaging systems.
  • Proficient in SWIFT Alliance Access, Alliance Gateway, and SWIFT Warehouse.
  • Strong knowledge of SWIFT FIN, FileAct, and InterAct messaging formats.
  • Hands-on experience with PKI certificate management, network security, and TLS encryption.
  • Familiar with enterprise networking concepts including VPNs, proxies, and firewalls.
  • Experience in incident management, problem resolution, and ITSM tools.
  • Knowledge of IT compliance and regulatory frameworks such as SOX or ISO 27001.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote support model, with strong documentation and communication skills
