Role Purpose
Drive the end-to-end finance agenda for Raw & Pack procurement across SSA. This role acts as a strategic business partner to Procurement, Treasury, and ISC Finance — ensuring robust financial control, informed decision-making, and delivery of productivity and forex performance in line with business commitments.
Key Responsibilities
- Procurement Finance Business Partnering
- Lead financial governance for direct material spend across SSA markets & plants
- Provide actionable insights across category, country, and spend tower performance
- Influence Procurement tower leads to deliver productivity & cost optimization outcomes
- Drive performance management rhythm — actuals, forecasts, R&O reporting
- Productivity & Value Delivery
- Manage annual productivity program — governance & validation
- Review productivity tracker & PPV results; monitor effectiveness & impact
- Support VOLT / Buyer Central governance and pipeline sufficiency analysis
- Commodity, Forex & Risk Management
- Support FX exposure management in partnership with Treasury
- Conduct sensitivity analysis, issue-flagging, and impact assessment to P&L
- Track hedging strategies, settlements, and provide timely insights to leadership
- Performance Reporting & Forecasting
- Lead month-end close activities for Procurement finance
- Prepare & analyse regional bridges (actuals vs forecast vs plan)
- Deliver Strat Plan / Annual Plan / Quarterly & Monthly Outlook cycles
- Run SAP & FiT reporting — analyse commodity & forex movements vs plan
- Master Data, Standards & Controls
- Own raw material standards, info records, import/export price lists
- Ensure contract governance and price master accuracy
- Uphold Mondelez compliance, internal controls, and audit standards

- BU Procurement Leads Raw & Pack productivity planning, variance insights, forecast cycles
- Procurement CoE / Spend Areas Drive cross-country productivity initiatives & tool adoption
- Global Procurement & Treasury PNOC, hedging strategies, economic forecast inputs, leadership decks
- BU Finance CoE Planning cycles, costing alignment, bridges & SP/AC/SF submissions
- Capabilities & Experience
Must-Have
- 4+ years’ experience in Finance within a multinational environment
- Strong FP&A / Supply Chain Finance / Procurement Finance exposure
- Advanced Excel; working knowledge of SAP (or similar ERP)
- Strong P&L, balance sheet & cash-flow understanding
- Analytical mindset with proven problem-solving skills
Educational & Professional Qualification
- Chartered Accountant CA or MBA Finance from a reputed institution
- Additional Certification in Financial Analysis, Treasury/FX or SAP will be advantageous
Good-to-Have
- FMCG industry experience
- Familiarity with commodity markets & FX risk frameworks
- Experience with productivity/CI programs & global stakeholder management
