Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Senior Accountant role located in Noida, India. The Senior Accountant will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including preparing financial statements, managing general ledger accounts, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Additional responsibilities include analyzing financial data, supervising junior accounting staff, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Ensure compliance with Payroll, Tax regulations, and Internal Financial Policies.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes.
• Review and analyze financial data for accuracy and completeness.
• Support external audits and prepare audit schedules as needed.
• Maintain and improve accounting systems and processes.
• Mentor and support junior accounting staff.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial planning and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
• Minimum 4+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge in financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software.
• Advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, macros).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
