Senior Accountant

Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to oversee general accounting operations and ensure the integrity of accounting information. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a thorough understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Key Responsibilities: Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with accounting standards Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual closings Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy of financial records Manage payroll, GST, TDS, and statutory compliance Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities Coordinate with internal and external auditors for audit preparation Maintain general ledger and ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s or CA Inter preferred) Proven experience (5+ years) in accounting or finance roles Strong knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures (Indian GAAP, GST, TDS, etc.) Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, SAP, or QuickBooks Advanced MS Excel skills High attention to detail and accuracy Excellent organizational and communication skills Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in [Industry – e.g., manufacturing, retail, service] Knowledge of ERP systems CA Inter or CMA Inter is a plus Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month Benefits: Internet reimbursement Schedule: Day shift Morning shift Supplemental Pay: Performance bonus Work Location: In person
