Senior Accountant

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to oversee general accounting operations and ensure the integrity of accounting information. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a thorough understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department
• Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with accounting standards
• Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
• Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy of financial records
• Manage payroll, GST, TDS, and statutory compliance
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors for audit preparation
• Maintain general ledger and ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met
• Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s or CA Inter preferred)
• Proven experience (5+ years) in accounting or finance roles
• Strong knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures (Indian GAAP, GST, TDS, etc.)
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, SAP, or QuickBooks
• Advanced MS Excel skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in [Industry – e.g., manufacturing, retail, service]
• Knowledge of ERP systems
• CA Inter or CMA Inter is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
