Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities1. Accounting & Bookkeeping

• Maintain day-to-day financial transactions using Tally or similar accounting software.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Reconcile bank statements and cash flow regularly.
• Maintain accurate ledgers, journals, and financial records.

2. Taxation & Compliance

• Prepare and file GST returns, TDS, and other statutory filings on time.
• Handle GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, GSTR-9C, and other reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with all tax-related regulations and coordinate with external auditors when needed.

3. Inventory & Cost Management

• Work closely with the production and inventory teams to manage fabric stock, SKU codes, and finished products.
• Track raw material purchases and finished goods consumption.
• Support in maintaining accurate stock valuation and costing reports.

4. Payroll & Employee Payments

• Process monthly salaries, advances, reimbursements, and statutory deductions (PF, ESI, TDS, etc.).
• Maintain employee records for payment tracking and ensure timely disbursals.

5. Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare monthly MIS reports for management review.
• Analyze profitability, expenses, and operational costs to support decision-making.
• Assist in preparing annual budgets, forecasts, and financial strategies.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance (B.Com, M.Com, or CA Inter preferred).
• Experience: 2–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in retail, manufacturing, or e-commerce.
• Skills:
• Proficiency in Tally Prime / Zoho Books / QuickBooks.
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic accounting standards.
• Good command of MS Excel for data handling and reporting.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under tight deadlines.
• Soft Skills: Attention to detail, problem-solving, communication, and a sense of ownership.
