Job Description

🔹 1. Financial Accounting Recording daily financial transactions (purchases, sales, expenses, payments, receipts). Maintaining ledgers, journals, and trial balance. Preparing Profit & Loss A/c and Balance Sheet. 🔹 2. Cost Accounting Tracking material, labor, and overhead costs. Preparing cost sheets for products. Analyzing variance (standard vs. actual cost). Assisting in pricing decisions. 🔹 3. Inventory & Stock Management Monitoring raw materials, WIP (Work in Progress), and finished goods. Reconciling stock with store records. Coordinating with store/production for accurate stock valuation. 🔹 4. Budgeting & Forecasting Preparing annual budgets and monthly forecasts. Monitoring expenses against budgets. Highlighting deviations to management. 🔹 5. Taxation & Compliance Filing GST returns, TDS, PF/ESIC contributions, and other statutory dues. Ensuring compliance with Income Tax, Excise/Customs (if applicable). Coordinating with auditors during statutory & internal audits. 🔹 6. Payroll & Employee Settlements Processing salaries, deductions, and overtime payments. Handling gratuity, PF, bonus, and leave encashment accounting. Preparing payslips and compliance reports. 🔹 7. Vendor & Customer Accounting Handling Accounts Payable (supplier invoices, credit notes, vendor reconciliation). Handling Accounts Receivable (customer invoices, collections, ageing analysis). Following up on overdue payments. 🔹 8. Banking & Cash Flow Management Preparing bank reconciliations. Monitoring daily cash flow. Handling LC, bank guarantees, and loan documentation. 🔹 9. Management Reporting Submitting MIS reports (production cost, profitability, overhead analysis). Providing financial insights for decision-making. Supporting management in cost control initiatives. 🔹 10. Internal Controls & Audit Implementing checks for fraud prevention. Coordinating with auditors (internal & statutory). Maintaining proper documentation for audit trails.
