Role & responsibilities Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports. Ensure compliance with statutory law and financial regulations (e.g., GST, TDS, Income Tax). Coordinate audit processes and liaise with internal and external auditors. Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff and assign tasks as necessary. Review and approve journal entries, bank reconciliations, and payroll. Handle financial data consolidation and analysis for strategic planning. Ensure timely closing of books and accurate financial reporting. Support the CFO or Finance Head in strategic decision-making. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CA Inter/CA/MBA (Finance) preferred. 4+ years of progressive accounting experience. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP). Advanced MS Excel skills. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
