Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Senior Accountant to join our team in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will have 4-8 years of experience in accounting and finance, with excellent communication skills and the ability to lead a team.

Roles and Responsibility

Prepare and post monthly accruals, prepayments, and similar accounting entries.
Lead budgeting and forecasting activities.
Analyze monthly and quarterly financial data and present findings to management.
Manage an end-to-end audit process, acting as the first point of contact for external auditors.
Oversee working capital management and produce cash flow forecasts.
Lead the team responsible for payroll, GST, TDS, EPF/ESIC/LWF/PT.
Investigate budget variances and provide financial insights for decision-making.
Analyze and document financial data for accurate journal entries and reporting.
Monitor bank accounts, depositary agreements, and prepare monthly reports.
Support company audits and tax preparation, coordinating with external auditors and tax consultants.
Multitask with multiple client accounts.
Communicate effectively with vendors, clients, and stakeholders.

Job Requirements

MBA in Finance or a related field, or BCOM Graduate.
CA/CMA preferred.
Possess strong computer skills in MS Office, internet, emails, and accounting software.
Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft (Excel/Word/PowerPoint) and Zoho Books.
Exhibit excellent written and oral communication skills in English and regional languages.
Ability to motivate and lead a team is essential.
Strong skill in creating detailed plans and managing reports is required.
Meticulous attention to detail is necessary.
Skill in conducting Root Cause Analysis is expected.
Ability to work on deadlines is crucial.
At least 5 years of leadership experience in end-to-end accounting practices is needed.
