Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

- Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements, including monthly P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Ensure timely submission of financial reports to management and stakeholders.

- Accounting Operations: Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and journal entries. Ensure accurate and timely accounting entries.

- Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely follow-up and payment cycles.

- Tax Compliance: Ensure accurate and timely filing of GST, TDS, and income tax returns. Maintain compliance with tax laws and regulations.

- Audit and Compliance: Coordinate with auditors and statutory authorities. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.

- Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to provide insights on the company's financial performance. Identify areas for improvement and recommend cost-saving measures.

- Budgeting and Forecasting: Prepare budget forecasts and financial projections. Assist in financial planning and decision-making.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.

- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a publishing firm or similar industry.

- Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (Tally ERP, Oracle), MS Excel, and financial reporting tools. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

- Knowledge: Familiarity with accounting principles, tax laws, and financial regulations.
