Senior Accountant

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end accounting processes, including preparation and maintenance of financial statements, ledgers, and balance sheets.
• Handle direct taxation tasks, including income tax return filing, tax planning, and compliance with statutory regulations.
• Oversee indirect taxation activities, such as GST return filing, TDS compliance, and other related obligations.
• Conduct internal and statutory audits, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulatory standards.
• Prepare and review financial reports, ensuring timely submission to clients and authorities.
• Coordinate with clients to address queries and provide advisory support on accounting and taxation matters.
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in process improvements and implementation of accounting software/tools for efficiency.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Educational Qualification: B.Com or CA Dropout.
• Experience: 4-5 years of relevant experience working in a reputed CA firm.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, direct and indirect taxation (GST, TDS, Income Tax), and audit procedures.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks) and MS Office (especially Excel).
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and team members.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with the latest tax regulations and compliance requirements.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive approach to problem-solving and process optimization.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
