Senior Accountant (Assistant to Accounts Manager)

We are a rapidly growing food and beverage distribution company with three active branches. To strengthen our finance team, we’re hiring a Senior Accountant who will work closely under the Accounts Manager and assist in managing full-scope accounting, reporting, and compliance across all branches.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Accounts Manager in branch-level and consolidated financial operations
• Prepare and analyze Financial Statements, Profit & Loss, and Cash Flow Reports
• Handle Budgeting, Forecasting, and Costing for all locations
• Maintain accurate inventory records and support stock reconciliation
• Ensure timely statutory compliance (GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc.)
• Perform Ledger Reconciliation and manage vendor/customer accounts
• Support Internal & External Audits and ensure audit readiness
• Monitor KPI performance and assist in business planning
• Manage Debt & Credit Control and ensure timely collections
• Track and report on Assets, Depreciation, and Investment Plans
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and financial efficiency improvements
• Maintain excellent documentation for financial transparency and control

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or Accounting (B.Com / M.Com)
• Minimum 2–3 years experience in accounting (FMCG or distribution preferred)
• Proficient in Tally ERP and MS Excel (Pivot, VLOOKUP, Reports)
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Financial Reporting & Compliance
• Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work under supervision
