Job Title: Head – Senior Account Manager

Job Summary :


Head – Finance & Compliance


Key Responsibilities:


1. Vendor Relationship Management

  • Oversee all vendor-related financial transactions and reconciliations.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with key vendors.
  • Negotiate payment terms, ensure timely payments, and resolve disputes.
  • Monitor vendor performance and conduct regular account audits.


2. Compliance & Statutory Management

  • Ensure timely and accurate filing of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory returns.
  • Handle notices, assessments, and liaisons with statutory and regulatory bodies.
  • Maintain documentation and records for all compliance-related matters.


3. MIS & Financial Reporting

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual

    MIS reports

    for senior management.
  • Provide financial analysis and recommendations for business planning and budgeting.
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness in all reports and dashboards.


4. Audit Management (Internal & Tax Audits)

  • Coordinate and lead internal and external audits including

    Tax Audit, and GST Audit

    .
  • Prepare audit schedules and ensure timely closure of audit queries.
  • Implement internal controls and monitor compliance with internal policies and procedures.


5. Banking

  • Manage banking operations, including fund transfers, loan documentation, and reconciliation.
  • Liaise with banks for working capital, overdrafts, and other financial facilities.
  • Monitor cash flow, maintain optimum liquidity, and manage interest costs effectively.


6. Team Management

  • Lead and mentor a team of junior accountants and finance executives.
  • Assign responsibilities, set performance targets, and conduct regular team reviews.
  • Promote cross-functional collaboration and foster a high-performance culture.


Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven experience in vendor finance, taxation, audits, and compliance (minimum 8–10 years).
  • Expertise in

    GST, TDS, Income Tax

    , and

    Companies Act compliance

    .
  • Strong command of accounting software (

    SAP, Tally, or ERP systems

    ).
  • Proficiency in

    Advanced Excel

    ,

    Google Sheets

    , and financial analysis tools.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.


Educational Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree

    in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
  • MBA (Finance)

    preferred.
