Job Description

Finance executive using Tally Prime is responsible for managing daily financial transactions, maintaining accurate ledgers, preparing financial reports, and handling TDS and GST filings. Key duties include data entry of invoices and receipts in Tally Prime, reconciliation of bank and vendor accounts, support during audits, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies. A strong understanding of Tally Prime features, financial principles, and excellent communication skills are essential for this role.  Core Responsibilities: Day-to-Day Operations: Perform daily data entry of vouchers, invoices, bills, and receipts directly into Tally Prime software.  Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring accurate ledger maintenance and timely payments to vendors and receipts from customers.  Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and GST inputs to ensure the accuracy and consistency of financial data.  Compliance: Assist with the timely filing of GST and TDS returns and other statutory compliance reports.  Financial Reporting: Generate financial reports, such as Profit & Loss (P&L) statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports for management review.  Audit Support: Provide necessary documentation and support for both internal and external financial audits.  Asset & Record Management: Maintain proper records of petty cash, assets, and employee reimbursements.  Essential Skills & Knowledge: Tally Prime Proficiency: Deep understanding of Tally Prime's features and functionalities for accounting, inventory, payroll, and tax management.  Accounting Principles: Strong knowledge of fundamental accounting and financial principles.  Microsoft Excel: Competent use of Microsoft Excel for data analysis and report generation.  Attention to Detail: Meticulous focus on detail and accuracy in all financial record-keeping and data entry.  Communication: Good written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders.  Teamwork: Ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a finance team and across other departments.  Regulatory Knowledge: Solid understanding of financial regulations, including GST and TDS provisions.
