Position Summary We are seeking an experienced, data-driven Search Engine Optimization Specialist to spearhead the execution and continuous optimization of our comprehensive SEO roadmap. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—content, development, analytics, PR, and more—to ensure timely implementation of all SEO initiatives. Success in this position means elevating Zudu.ai’s organic search visibility, driving qualified traffic, and significantly improving conversion metrics. Key Responsibilities Strategy & Roadmap Execution Lead the implementation of Zudu.ai’s SEO strategy, including technical audits, on-page and off-page initiatives, and detailed content plans. Manage milestones to ensure timely completion of tasks across technical, content, and link-building initiatives. Technical SEO Management Conduct in-depth technical SEO audits (site speed, Core Web Vitals, mobile responsiveness, JavaScript rendering, schema markup, etc.). Collaborate with web developers to implement technical fixes, manage site architecture, and optimize crawl budget. On-Page Optimization Oversee keyword research, mapping, and on-page optimizations (titles, meta descriptions, header tags, internal linking, etc.) for new and existing pages. Work with the content team to ensure all published content meets SEO best practices and brand guidelines. Content Strategy & Development Develop and manage a content calendar aligned with SEO goals, creating pillar pages, blog posts, infographics, webinars, and other assets. Provide SEO briefs, keywords, and guidance to content writers and editors, ensuring high-quality, search-optimized copy. Link Building & Off-Page SEO Strategize and execute link-building campaigns, including outreach to industry publications, resource link building, guest posts, influencer partnerships, and PR initiatives. Conduct competitor backlink analyses to identify link opportunities, measure domain authority growth, and mitigate negative SEO risks. Local SEO & International Expansion Manage local SEO initiatives, including Google Business Profile optimization and citation building. If applicable, plan and implement international SEO strategies. Analytics & Reporting Set up and maintain tracking in Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console to measure organic performance, keyword rankings, conversion rates, and user behavior. Produce weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports, detailing insights, trends, and recommendations for continuous improvement. Collaboration & Team Management Work closely with cross-functional teams (Development, Content, PR, CRO, etc.) to ensure alignment and smooth project execution. Lead periodic check-ins and strategy refinement sessions, ensuring goals and tasks are clearly communicated to stakeholders. Risk Management & Adaptation Monitor industry trends, algorithm changes, and competitor activities to proactively adjust the SEO strategy. Develop contingency plans for potential risks, such as major algorithm updates, resource constraints, or technical issues. Qualifications Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent practical experience). 4–7+ years of hands-on SEO experience, with a proven record of driving significant organic growth for SaaS/tech or related businesses. Demonstrated success in coordinating complex SEO strategies involving technical optimization, content marketing, and link building. Technical Proficiency Expert knowledge of SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog, Sitebulb). Familiarity with GA4, Google Search Console, and data visualization/reporting tools. Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript basics, schema markup, and CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, HubSpot). Analytical & Strategic Mindset Strong analytical skills to interpret data, pinpoint optimization opportunities, and forecast results. Ability to create compelling reports and present actionable insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Project Management & Communication Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks under tight deadlines. Strong written and verbal communication skills for articulating SEO strategies, progress, and outcomes to diverse teams. Team Collaboration Proven ability to work cross-functionally with content creators, developers, designers, and marketing teams. Leadership qualities that foster teamwork, accountability, and continuous learning. Adaptability Ability to stay current with industry changes, search engine algorithm updates, and best practices.
