We are scaling rapidly and are looking for a data-driven SEO & Content Specialist to optimize our digital presence and create high-impact, search-optimized content that drives organic growth and conversions.


SEO & Content Specialist at Lorien Finance

  • Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to improve organic search visibility and drive qualified traffic.
  • Create search-optimized, high-quality content that resonates with Students & Parents while meeting SEO requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with the Marketing, Product, and Loan Operations teams to ensure content aligns with business objectives and search intent.
  • Leverage SEO tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Analytics) and AI-powered content generation tools to maximize content performance and reach.
  • Build and maintain a data-driven content calendar that prioritizes high-impact keywords and seasonal search trends.
  • Conduct technical SEO audits and implement on-page and off-page optimization strategies.


Key Responsibilities

1. SEO Strategy & Optimization

  • Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies aligned with business goals and seasonal application periods.
  • Conduct keyword research to identify high-value, intent-driven opportunities in the study-abroad finance space.
  • Perform technical SEO audits and implement fixes to improve site performance, crawlability, and indexation.
  • Monitor and analyze organic search performance using Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEO tools.

2. Content Creation & SEO Optimization

  • Write SEO-optimized blog posts that rank for target keywords while addressing student and parent pain points.
  • Create high-conversion, search-optimized landing pages that drive loan applications.
  • Develop keyword-rich social media content that supports overall SEO strategy and drives engagement.
  • Craft email campaigns with SEO considerations for content repurposing and link-building opportunities.
  • Generate website content that balances search optimization with Lorien's brand messaging and user experience.

3. AI-Powered SEO Content Production

  • Leverage AI tools like ChatGPT for content ideation, optimization, and scale while maintaining quality and search relevance.
  • A/B test AI-generated content variations to optimize for both search rankings and user engagement.
  • Use AI tools to identify content gaps and opportunities in competitor analysis.

4. Technical SEO & Performance Optimization

  • Optimize page load speeds, mobile responsiveness, and Core Web Vitals for better search rankings.
  • Implement schema markup and structured data to enhance search result visibility.
  • Develop and execute link-building strategies to improve domain authority and search rankings.
  • Ensure consistent application of SEO best practices across all digital touchpoints.


Must-Have Skills:

  • Proven experience (3-6 years) in SEO and content marketing with demonstrated results in organic growth.
  • Advanced knowledge of SEO tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Analytics, Search Console) and content management systems.
  • Strong understanding of technical SEO, on-page optimization, and search algorithm updates.
  • Experience in fintech, BFSI, or edtech sectors with knowledge of regulatory content requirements is highly preferred.
  • Ability to balance SEO requirements with compelling, user-focused content that converts.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered SEO and content tools for research, optimization, and performance tracking.
  • Data-driven mindset with ability to analyze performance metrics and optimize based on insights.
