About The Role
This Scrum Master role at Quvia focuses on coaching Agile teams, facilitating Scrum and Kanban ceremonies, and ensuring alignment across stakeholders. Key responsibilities include tracking Agile metrics, preparing dashboards, identifying impediments, and tailoring practices to specific tech domains (Aviation, Shipping, Network, Satellite). The role requires 5+ years of Scrum Master experience, strong communication, and familiarity with Agile tools.
What You'll Do
- Act as a servant-leader and coach for Agile teams, supporting the adoption of Scrum and Kanban methodologies.
- Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Retrospectives, Reviews) while encouraging continuous improvement.
- Support Kanban teams with flow efficiency, WIP limits, and visual management.
- Work closely with Product Managers, Engineering Managers, Designers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment across multiple workstreams and priorities.
- Define, derive, and track key Agile metrics (velocity, lead time, burndown, cycle time, throughput) to help teams improve and deliver predictably.
- Prepare and maintain dashboards to provide clear visibility into sprint progress, blockers, team health, and overall program status.
- Regularly present insights and reports to leadership and stakeholders, supporting data-driven decisions.
- Help tailor Agile practices to suit the unique demands of Aviation, Shipping, Network, and Satellite technology domains.
- Proactively identify and resolve impediments that impact delivery and quality.
- Cultivate a culture of ownership, adaptability, and continuous learning within a startup ecosystem.
- Contribute to the development and scaling of Agile practices as the company grows.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach.
- Strong grasp of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe or LeSS is a plus).
- Experience working in a startup or fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent facilitation, coaching, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Monday.com, Azure DevOps).
- Ability to derive and present metrics clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience or interest in domains such as Aviation, Shipping, Network, or Satellite systems.
- Scrum Master certification (SAFe SM, CSM, PSM) is desirable but not mandatory if backed by strong experience and mindset.
Preferred Experience & Qualifications
- 5–9 years of hands-on experience as Scrum Master
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
