SCM Business Manager

About the position
Chevron ENGINE has an exciting opportunity for a SCM Business Manager to join the function team will be based in Chevron’s office in Bengaluru.
Chevron ENGINE supports global operations, and work hours are aligned to business needs. Standard working hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 1:30 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday to Friday. These may evolve based on operational or business requirements.
Key responsibilities
This role will primarily be responsible and accountable for end to end Supply Chain Operations in ENGINE, reporting into the Finance Manager for ENGINE. Supply Chain Management (SCM) in ENGINE is responsible for Facilities Management, Logistics Management, Cafeteria Operations and Contracting/Negotiations.
This position will work very closely with the ENGINE Leadership Team (ENGINE LT) on a daily basis. This position is a key member of the ENGINE Crisis Management team – Logistics Section Chief on the AEMT/CMT and will be accountable for business continuity when weather, security and other issues pop up.
Facility Management: Accountable for safe and efficient provision of work facilities management to support assets (utilities, maintenance and safety). ENGINE will have Employees working 4 days a week in a 500,000 sq ft of office space in Bangalore within one large facility which will have Special Purpose Rooms and labs like Robotics, Wells DSC, Sub-surface holographic rooms, Digital Twin,. Cybersecurity, Forensic, AI Labs etc.
Logistics Management: Employee Transportation and Expat Transportation - Accountable for safe and efficient performance of large fleet of vehicles that will provide daily Login and Logout transportation to workforce in Bangalore and also to the Expats in Bangalore.
Cafeteria Management: Accountable for safe and efficient operations of a Cafeteria operational in 2 shifts from 8am to 11pm – 5 days a week.
Contracts / Negotiations: Direct the development, contract formulation, negotiation and commissioning of category-based ENGINE contracts for daily operations. Direct all category management efforts (sourcing and supplier management and integration) working closely with the SCM teams and Finance teams in Manila and Global SCM teams in Houston. In conjunction with ENGINE leadership, manage, coordinate and develop the ENGINE Strategic Procurement Plan ensuring alignment with corporate procurement strategies. In conjunction with the ENGINE leadership manage, coordinate and develop the Annual Contracting Plan.

Demonstrated experience in the ability to lead effectively across a multi-functional multi-geography SCM environment, including Procurement, Contracting, Budgeting, Facilities, Cafeteria and Land Logistics for staff and Expats
Demonstrated experience in comfortably managing various deliverables related to business planning, contractor management, people management, safety and security, data analytics etc.
