Job Description

SENIOR TECHNICAL ENGINEER - SAP SUCCESSFACTORS

ROLE DESCRIPTION

Responsible for implementing and supporting SAP SuccessFactors HCM solutions. Key tasks include system configuration, integration with HR and payroll systems, and ensuring smooth end-to-end delivery.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Develops software solutions based on SAP SuccessFactors by studying information needs, conferring with users, studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes, investigating problem areas, following the software development lifecycle.

* Drive business outcomes for functional areas by delivering corresponding tech solutions. Adheres to internal best practices and coding conventions to write and execute tests for your own code, including creating comprehensive unit tests.

* Lead the technical implementation of SAP SuccessFactors HCM across retail business units, ensuring alignment with operational and compliance requirements.

* Design and configure SAP SF modules including Employee Central, Recruiting, Recruitment Marketing, Onboarding & Performance and Goals etc.

* Handles all phases of implementation-design, configuration, testing, deployment, and support. Also reviews custom extensions, optimizes performance, and works with cross- functional teams to deliver secure and scalable solutions.

* Oversee data migration activities, including mapping, cleansing, validation, and transformation.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring system stability and performance.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including HR, IT, Finance, and Operations to gather requirements and deliver solutions.

Ensure security and compliance with data protection regulations and labor laws. Support testing cycles, including unit, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Provide technical documentation, training, and post-go-live support.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelors Degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent disciplines.

* 3-5 years of experience in HCM system implementation, with at least 2 years focused on SAP SuccessFactors.

Strong technical knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors modules, architecture, APIs, and integration frameworks.

Experience in retail environments with complex scheduling and workforce needs.

Proficiency in SQL, XML, and scripting for data manipulation and integration.

* Familiarity with middleware platforms and ETL tools.

Understanding of payroll processing, labor compliance, and time tracking in retail.
